About Ground & Pound apparel
 

Ground & Pound Apparel was founded in 2018 by Sarah and Daniel Pitta as a side project of their growing supplement business. At the time, they were sponsoring several professional and amateur mixed martial artists and as a part of that activity were designing and printing custom fight shirts and other clothing. Since there wasn’t much of business behind the brand, eventually the project was abandoned. Now, several years later, after having founded their own MMA gym, Dan and Sarah have decided to revive the brand as a subsidiary of the gym to produce and sell not only their own Newport MMA clothing but custom clothing for gyms, fighters, and teams throughout the combat sports world.
